What we do for you
Buying a property in another country follows a clear process. We make sure you have full oversight of every step, so you can focus on finding the right home.
Purchase costs
In Spain, you need to budget for costs on top of the purchase price. These vary somewhat depending on whether you buy a new build or a resale property, but here is a simple overview:
Taxes: Transfer tax (resale property) or VAT (new build).
Public fees: Notary and registration in the property register.
Professional support: Fees for a lawyer and, if relevant, a surveyor.
In total, you should budget an additional 10–13% on top of the purchase price to cover all taxes and costs.
